My brother and sister-in-law made a little stop here to see us on Sunday and of course we had to photograph this little man! He is one of the happiest babies I've ever seen, and of course one of the cutest! :) A lot people don't know this, but my family has congenital cataracts that are hereditary in our family. My oldest brother and I were born with them. I was fortunate enough to not have to have mine removed until I was 21 years old. My daughter, Elizabeth, has cataracts also and started wearing glasses at the age of 2. Ian was born the end of September and has had glasses since he was 2 months old. I love them and think they are just as adorable as he is!

This past weekend, we had the priviledge of taking our daughter Elizabeth to the Disney On Ice in Rapid City, SD! We had SOOO much fun! It was an awesome production and I can't say enough great things about the performance, I would definately do it again in a heartbeat! Here are some of the images I captured from the day! If you ever get a chance to go, I would greatly recommend it! I never even had to tell her to sit down and watch, she was glued to the characters the whole time! :)

Class of 2013! It's not too early to start thinking about your Senior Portrait Session! Did you know most schools require Seniors to submit their headshot for the yearbook by November 1st! That means Seniors must have their portraits taken and ordered by sometime in October! If you think that's crazy, that's okay! I'm going to give you 10 reasons why you should have your Senior Portraits taken before October!

10. You have the best time slots to choose from for your Senior appointment!

9. Getting them done sooner than later, ensures you're not rushing to beat yearbook deadlines!

8. The weather is warm and sunny! (we do live in South Dakota, however, and can never predict the weather)

7. Everything is green and lush, making for gorgeous outdoor portraits!

6. Having them taken before school starts has less conflicts with school and sports activities!

5. The water's warm! We live near the water, we might as well take advantage of it!

4. Summer brings out the best color in all of us! Having that fresh sunlight glow makes your skin look beautiful for portraits!

3. Your Senior year is full of busy schedules and pure craziness! Getting them done in the summer, is one thing you can check off your TO DO List! :)

2. If you're thinking about adding our "after hours session" to your Senior Session-the best time is summer for that rich golden sunlight right before dusk!

1. Any Senior that has their portraits taken BEFORE September 1st, will receive a complimentary outdoor family session! (to be completed before October 1st)

Be on the lookout for our One Day Senior Session Sale! We will announce the day and details at a later time. You don't want to miss out on this great deal!

I've said it once and I'll say it again, I LOVE NEWBORNS! How can you not love these squishy, cuddly, adorable, sweet, innocent, tiny little creatures! Newborn babies are simply amazing to photograph, once asleep it's pretty much a relaxed enviroment that I get to mold and create everlasting images that the parents will cherish forever! I believe newborn pictures are a must have, it's a time you can never get back, they're never, ever going to be that tiny again! If you're wondering the best time to get newborn pictures taken...well, it's the best before they're 2 weeks old, there's a golden window of opportunity to be able to get them nice and full and sleepy so that I can work with them to create the unique portraits I know you'll love! The newer the better! ;)

Families are an honor to photograph! I enjoy photographing the love shared in a family and capturing it for them to cherish forever! We also did Little E's 6 month pictures and pictures with her Big Brother T...and boy does he ever love his little sister! Such a beautiful family!
